Where I come from
I grew up in Seppenrade, a small village in Germany's Münsterland. At school I was more troublemaker than runner, until Corona hit in my final school year. Out of boredom I put on old sneakers and ran. Then again the next morning. 10 km, every day, for a year.
When my grandpa passed away, I ran 100 km through our village for him. It was brutal, and it hooked me for good. Since then I've run to every Germany match at the EURO, across the whole country from Sylt to Neuschwanstein, and to a shared win at the very first Go One More Ultra in Texas.
Along the way I built rappid., a running brand and community, and co-founded the Last Soul Ultra with André Schürrle. Today more than 675,000 people follow the journey. The rule stays the same: go one more.
The journey so far
Final school year, Corona, nothing to do. The first runs, then 10 km every single morning.
After my grandpa died, I ran 100 km through my home village. My first ultra distance, no race, no medal, just for him.
I ran to every Germany match of the home EURO: more than 1,000 km in 21 days, stadium to stadium.

Berlin Wall Trail, my first official ultra: 161 km in 23:19 h, first in my age group.
From the North Sea to the Alps on foot: 1,159 km in 18 days, 3 hours and 55 minutes, with the community following every kilometre.

My first backyard ultra and the very first Go One More Ultra, with a spot drawn from around 10,000 applicants. After 56 loops a storm stopped the race: a double win with Kendall Picado.

Only after all the ultras came the classic: Berlin Marathon in 2:50:56.

Organised my own backyard ultra and won it: 67 loops, 449 km, 67 hours, streamed live and turned into a documentary series on Joyn and YouTube.

Go One More 2026 with the goal of 100 loops. The Texas heat stopped me after 58 loops and almost 400 km.
Last Soul Ultra 2.0, this time as race director after a foot injury: 169 runners, a new German backyard record of 94 loops and a livestream with millions of views.

The mission
My mission is to push limits and show what people are capable of, physically and mentally.
Reach · as of September 2026
Audience
A sporty, mentality-driven community aged 18 to 34, mostly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, united by the drive to grow physically and mentally.
From the feed to the street
The backyard ultra I co-founded with André Schürrle: 6.7 km every hour, until only one soul is left.
An official Big's Backyard satellite race and the place where my community stops watching and becomes part of the story: as runners, as crew and live in the stream around the clock.
Partners · 25+ brands
People come for the projects and the stories, not for ads. That's why partners become a natural part of the journey: how I prepare, eat, train, sleep and travel. What brands tell us again and again: you barely notice it's a placement.
